Chariz Solomon, Betong Sumaya share what it's like to work with Michael V.
Chariz Solomon and Betong Sumaya guested on Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," where they shared their experience of working with Michael V. a.k.a. Bitoy.
Michael V. is one of the pioneers of "Bubble Gang," where Chariz and Betong are mainstays.
Betong described the award-winning Kapuso comedian as generous, saying, "Hay grabe.
Chariz, for her part, shared that he is very collaborative and humble.
Napaka-humble kasi na tao," she said.
She also recalled her recent taping for the sitcom "Pepito Manaloto," where she also stars with Michael V.
According to the comedienne, she forgot how to act like she has the cold, and he generously taught her how on the spot.
Meanwhile, Betong recalled one scene with the comedian for "Bubble Gang," where he played the role of Mamaw, the mother-in-law of Michael V.'s character.
In the scene, Betong had to physically hurt Michael V., which he was unwilling to do, but the latter convinced him that he has to.
"Bubble Gang," the country's longest-running gag show, celebrated its 29th anniversary this November with a two-part anniversary special on Nov. 17 and 24.
The special runs on the theme, "BaliSong Bente Nuebe," with all of the sketches featuring popular folk songs, nursery rhymes, and familiar melodies.
"Bubble Gang" airs every Sunday at 6:10 p.m. on GMA Network.
