Sanya Lopez, Chef Hazel prank Mikee Quintos on 'Lutong Bahay'

Mikee Quintos had no idea about what was in store for her when Sanya Lopez and Chef Hazel pranked her on her own show, "Lutong Bahay."

Mikee and Chef Hazel visited Sanya and her manager, director Alvin Fortuno, in the show's Thursday episode, where they cooked Sanya's tokwa't baboy and Chef Hazel's arroz caldo.

While sampling the dishes they cooked, Sanya made a comment about the chef's dish.

"Sorry ha, medyo ano lang, masarap naman siya, chef, kaya lang... Parang masyadong mapaminta," the "Pulang Araw" actress remarked with a displeased expression.

"Totoo ba, teka nga, tingnan nga natin parang sa 'kin okay naman. Tikman muna natin 'yung tokwa't baboy," Chef Hazel replied.

The chef then asked if the cameras were rolling.

"Naka-rolling? Parang matigas 'yung baboy, try mo Mikee," she said.

At this point, Mikee already looked awkward. But that was not the end of it.

Sanya then complained she expected that they will be eating rice instead of arroz caldo.

"Ang in-expect ko rin kasi talaga rice, so sana 'di ba, rice na lang 'yung ginawa mo, chef, kasi mas babagay siya dun," she said.

Chef Hazel, who appeared tense, replied that she didn't want to be a know-it-all.

"Alangan namang magmarunong ako na sabihin ko, 'Ay hindi ako magluluto ng lugaw kasi ang gusto ni Sanya kanin,'" she replied.

The actress tried to explain that she mentioned in the beginning of the show that her tokwa't baboy was more suitable as an ulam or viand, but Chef Hazel looked unhappy.

"Ang tagal-tagal ko na 'tong ginagawa, niluluto, tapos sasabihin mo parang hindi masarap," she said.

By then, someone from the production crew approached them and called for a five-minute break.

"Sana nagbaon ka ng kanin! Wag mong sabihing artista ka, di kita papatulan!" yelled Chef Hazel as she walked away from the table.

Sanya shot back, "Wag mong sabihin sa 'king chef ka!"

The episode cuts to a break, but when the show returned, all four of them were already laughing.

Mikee appeared stressed from the situation while Sanya and Chef Hazel laughed at her.

"Nako chef at Sanya, grabe 'yung aktingan niyo ha, it's a prank lang pala," she said, being a good sport about it.

As they all settled down and went back to their seats, Sanya shared that she had a hard time complaining about Chef Hazel's dish.

"Sa totoo lang 'yung tinitikman ko, ang hirap magreklamo kasi ang sarap ng pagkain," she said.
