Michael V. to spoof Maki
Michael V. has another spoof up his sleeve!
The King of Philippine Parody announced that he will be spoofing rising artist Maki.
On Instagram, Bitoy said that his character is named Yaki and will perform on the Waste Truck. He also donned Maki’s outfit of a brown shirt and backpack, which he wore when he performed his top hit, “Dilaw” on the Wish Bus.
Maki reacted to the announcement on X and wrote, “my I MADE IT moment I fear.”
In recent years, Bitoy’s most memorable spoofs include Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila,” “Uhaw” by Dilaw, “Pasilyo” by SunKissed Lola, and “Salamin, Salamin” by BINI.
Meanwhile, Maki has been making waves with “Dilaw.” He performed the song with the American band, LANY at the Philippine Arena in October.
