Kathryn Bernardo on 'Hello, Love, Again' success: 'Our hearts are overflowing with so much joy'
Kathryn Bernardo took to Instagram to thank fans and viewers for their support for “Hello, Love, Again.”
The much-awaited sequel to “Hello, Love, Goodbye” recorded a whopping P85 million sales in box office receipts on its opening day, according to GMA Network and ABS-CBN.
On Instagram, Kathryn posted photos with fellow lead star Alden Richards and film director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, and said their hearts are "overflowing with so much joy."
“This is more than what we’ve prayed and wished for,” Kathryn said in her caption.
Kathryn said the cast and crew poured so much love into making the film, and the fans “returned that love a thousandfold."
“The amount of support we’ve been receiving is beyond what any of us could have imagined. Maraming salamat po,” Kathryn said.
“To our fellow Filipinos, thank you for giving us the chance to continue sharing with you the story of Joy and Ethan," she added.
“Hello, Love, Again” follows OFWs Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan’s (Alden) love story five years after the former left Hong Kong for Canada.
The film is showing in over 1,000 cinemas worldwide. Tickets for the film are available online.
