'Pulang Araw' is extended for 2 weeks
Good news "Pulang Araw" fans, more episodes are coming for you!
"Pulang Araw" writer Suzette Doctolero announced the good news on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.
"Two weeks extended ang [Pulang Araw]. 110 eps. Salamat sa mga nananonood nito," she wrote.
The show was originally a 100-episode series.
Directed by Dominic Zapata, "Pulang Araw" traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends, Adelina (Barbie Forteza), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), Hiroshi (David Licauco), and Eduardo (Alden Richards), as World War II erupts in the Philippines.
The main antagonist of the series is Col. Yuta Saitoh, played by Dennis Trillo. He is a Japanese imperial army officer whose mission is to conquer the country.
"Pulang Araw" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" and also streams on Netflix.
