Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo try delivering flight announcements on 'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho'

Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo tried their hand at delivering flight announcements as a pilot and flight attendant!

The "Hello, Love, Again" stars graced the "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" on Sunday as it celebrates its 20th anniversary on air.

During their guesting, the award-winning broadcast journalist asked Alden about his dream of becoming a pilot, to which the Sparkle actor answered: "Yes, Ma'am Jess, before po. Kaya lang po mahal tuition."

["Yes, Ma'am Jess, it was my dream before. But the tuition fee was too expensive."]

Wondering what Alden would look like if he became a pilot, Soho asked him to do a flight boarding announcement.

The Kapuso actor gamely took the challenge and flawlessly delivered his spiel.

"Hello, good evening. This is your Captain speaking and I'd like to welcome everyone on HLA Flight KM20. We hope you enjoy your flight, and once again, thank you for choosing HLA Airlines," he said.

Meanwhile, Soho and Kathryn can't help but praise the actor for his amazing delivery.

"Hanep! Galing!" Kathryn said.

["Amazing! That was so good!"]

"Wow! Kawawa lang 'yung mga pasahero. 'Di nila nakita ang gwapo ng piloto," Soho added.

["Wow! Too bad the passengers couldn’t see how handsome the pilot is."]

After Alden, Kathryn also joined the fun and acted as a flight attendant, delivering an equally flawless spiel.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is flight KM20 with service from Canada to the Philippines. Please fasten your seatbelts and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. Thank you for choosing HLA Airlines. Enjoy your flight," she said.

Jessica also asked Alden if he could have a "take two" in real life, what would it be, to which he replied that he wished his mother could see all his accomplishments.

"Para makikita niya lahat ng mga pinangarap niya para sa 'kin," he shared.

["I wish that she can see all the dreams she had for me come true.”]

Alden lost his own mother, Rosario Faulkerson, to pneumonia in 2008.

As for Kath, the actress answered that she would never change a thing, even the heartaches.

"Because I felt like lahat po nang nangyari ngayon, and noon, kung hindi 'yun nangyari, baka ibang Kathryn 'yung humarap sa inyo ngayon. And I feel like anything or everything that happened, lahat 'yan may reason," she said.

[“Because I feel like if these things didn't happen, maybe a different Kathryn would be facing you now. And I feel like everything happened for a reason."]

"And I just love my life now, Ms. Jessica. So lahat ng failures, lahat ng victories, lahat ng sadness and happiness, kailangan ko 'yun ma-experience to be this Kathryn now. So wala akong papalitan," Kathryn added.

["I just love my life now, Ms. Jessica. So all the failures, victories, sadness, and happiness— maybe I needed to experience those to be the Kathryn that I am now. So I wouldn't change anything."]

Kathryn and Alden are set to reprise their roles as Joy and Ethan in "Hello, Love, Again," sequel to the 2019 blockbuster hit "Hello, Love, Goodbye."

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, "Hello Love Again" continues the story five years after Joy left Hong Kong for Canada.

"Hello, Love, Again" will be in cinemas on November 13. Tickets are now on sale.
