Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo open up on what they learned from each other
Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo have become good friends who share advice and other lessons in life.
On "24 Oras," Tuesday, KathDen sat down with Nelson Canlas for a GMA Integrated News interview and shared the things they learned from each other.
Kathryn said that she's amazed by how Alden handles everything he does.
"Minsan 'pag napapagod ako, ta's titingnan ko siya, iisipin ko, 'Ito nga hindi nagre-reklamo.' Ang dami. 'Pag kapag kailangan mo ng advice, you just talk to him," Kathryn said.
"Hindi ako nahihiyang magtanong sa kanya. Hindi ko kailangan i-filter 'yung mga questions ko because I know na hindi siya mao-offend also," she said.
After going through the challenges she faced last year, Kathryn said that the biggest lesson she learned is to make time for the things that matter.
"Natutunan ko how to make time or how to take a pause. Sasabihin ko medyo I'm kind of exhausted or tired, so sasabihin ko maybe I need a break," she said.
Alden likewise learns things from Kathryn.
Like he said during the media con for "Hello, Love, Again," Kathryn made him realize that he should not take life too seriously.
"Siya 'yung nagpa-realize sa akin na, you know, it's OK to say no at times. Value your time for yourself, time for your loved ones. Take everything one day at a time. Hindi ka superhero," Alden said.
"One battle at a time," Kathryn added.
Alden and Kathryn are returning to the big screen for "Hello, Love, Again." It is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster hit "Hello, Love, Goodbye."
The film will be in Philippine cinemas on November 13. Tickets are now on sale.
The Filipino movie will also be released in North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
