The Voice Kids: Let the Battles Begin!
The moment fans have been waiting for has arrived!
The highly anticipated Battle Round of The Voice Kids officially kicked off last Sunday, November 3, and the talented young singers surprised everyone with an exciting showdown.
The blind auditions were filled with jaw-dropping performances, and now in the Battle Round, these young talents compete against each other, delivering their best in the hope of advancing to the next round. This is their chance to shine and show off the hard work they've put into their craft.
The Battle Round also introduced an unexpected twist called the "Backstage Steal." After each group's three-way battle, only one talent moves forward to the next round, but other coaches can steal the talents who were not chosen.
In the first Battle Round episode, Coach Billy Crawford's Team Bilib – Rexylyn Hi Caiji, Eun-Hae Francisco, and Clet Feigalan – delivered a heartfelt rendition of 'Patuloy Ang Pangarap.' Coach Billy later chose Rexylyn to continue her journey on his team.
From Coach Julie Anne San Jose's team, Shawn Agustin, Ava Glarino, and Wincess Yana showed off their incredible vocal skills with 'Bridge Over Troubled Water.' Shawn won Julie's heart in this round and remains to be part of the JuleSquad. Coach Billy took the opportunity to steal Wincess to become part of Team Bilib.
Meanwhile, Coach Stell's team, Brianna Louise Sison, Jan Hebron Ecal, and Jireh Tzidkenu Sepnio, captivated everyone with their magnificent cover of 'Isa Pang Araw.' Jan won the spot for Coach Stell's team.
Coach Pablo's team of Shamchienel Santos, Keith Neithan Perez, and Hannah Aladin performed their heart-melting take on Lady Gaga's 'Always Remember Us This Way!' Officially making it to Coach Pablo's team for the next round was Shamchienel.
In the next episodes, viewers will see two more groups doing 3-way battles per coach. How the coaches will utilize the Backstage Steal option is also something to look forward to.
The Battle Round brings a whole new level of excitement to The Voice Kids. With their coaches by their side, the kids are expected to deliver powerful performances that will resonate with audiences. Expect to see emotional moments, thrilling surprises, and the kind of talent that makes The Voice Kids a favorite among viewers.
As the program progresses, these young talents will face even tougher challenges, pushing them to their utmost potential. "The Voice Kids" host Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes will help navigate the kids' happy but sometimes emotional moments in the competition.
