Kylie Padilla, Ruru Madrid reunite in adorable dance video
Kylie Padilla and Ruru Madrid tugged the heartstrings of their beloved KyRu fans as they reunited in an adorable dance video together!
On Instagram, GMA Pictures shared a clip of the two Sparkle stars dancing to the song "Disco" by Surf Curse.
"Our KyRu hearts," the caption read.
Kylie and Ruru last worked together in "Black Rider." They are set to reprise their roles as Amihan and Ybrahim respectively in the "Encantadia" spinoff "Sang'gre."
The two will also star in the upcoming 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Green Bones" alongside Dennis Trillo and Sofia Pablo.
Kylie's character is still unknown, while Ruru is playing the role of a jail guard, which according to him is a "dream come true."
"Green Bones" is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs.
The screenplay was written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. It will be directed by Zig Dulay, the filmmaker behind "Firefly."
The film is produced by GMA Pictures and Public Affairs, and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures.
"Green Bones" tells the story of a man who is notorious for the grisly murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars - no matter what it takes.
