Jessa Zaragoza reacts to daughter Jayda's idea of dressing up as her mom for Halloween
Jessa Zaragoza has reacted to daughter Jayda's brilliant idea of dressing up as her mom Jessa for Halloween.
"Winner! I'm so honored anak," Jessa commented on Jayda's Instagram carousel post, where the young singer shared snaps of herself mimicking her mom's various CD covers.
The post is an extension of Jayda's "Shake Rattle & Ball" costume, where she arrived in a bright yellow coordinates, carrying a microphone and a copy of Jessa's Best Of CD compilation from where she took inspiration.
In her Instagram post, Jayda also dressed up — and posed — as Jessa in her "Ibigay mo na" album, where she is seen wearing a red camisole and in Jessa's "Just Can't Help Feelin'" where the older singer posed in an abs-baring white tank mid-riff and unbuttoned jeans.
Of course, Jayda included the earlier yellow outfit from Jessa's Best Of album as well.
For good measure, she had an graphic artist fix her photos to look exactly like her mom's CD covers and for comparison, threw in photos of Jessa's actual CD covers as well.
In her caption, Jayda narrated how she knew "it was the perfect time" to dress up as Jessa, when se received the Icons, Legends, Freaks theme for the Shake,Rattle, & Ball party.
"I thought it was only fair to pay tribute to the first icon I’ve ever known; my Mama, or as people know her, the Phenomenal Diva: Jessa Zaragoza," Jayda wrote.
But here's the thing: Jayda didn't just recreate her mom's album covers, she wore replicas of her outfits made by Jessa's original designer, Maxie Cinco.
"Thank you to my incredible team for being so game to do this shoot, making my creative dreams and vision come true at such a short notice. Labyu guys so muchhh!" Jayda said.
In her comment, Jessa said her daughter and her team "killed it! Congrats to you & Team JAYDA!!!" Jessa said.
Jayda is the daughter of Jessa and Dingdong Avanzado and clearly the young singer is proud to be her parents' daughter.
