Anne Curtis looks back on core memories on ‘It’s Showtime’

Anne Curtis looked back on the fondest moments she had in the 15-year run of "It's Showtime" after her "Magpasikat" performance with teammates Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz on Thursday.

The performance of Team AJT was all about core memories, which prompted the hosts afterward to ask Anne about her own core memories as an "OG" member of "It's Showtime."

“Sa 15 years, there’s so much! I grew up on this show alongside my ‘It’s Showtime’ family,” she said.

She shared that in all those years, she experienced being single, getting a boyfriend, tying the knot, having a child, and even doing a "Magpasikat" performance while pregnant with Dahlia without the knowledge of her "It's Showtime" family in 2019.

But if there’s one core memory that will always stick the most to her, it is the first-ever episode of the noontime show in 2009.

“We came in here on stage na ang dami nating doubts. Tatagal ba tayo? Magtatagal ba tayo? Gaano katagal? Seven years? Four years? Three years?” said Anne.

“Who would’ve known that from a simple pre-noontime show, we would be here on stage and performing for the madlang people, changing people’s lives with the help of ABS-CBN for 15 years, and that for me is a solid core memory that continues to create core memories,” she added.

As she looked back on that day, the Filipino-Australian actress expressed gratitude to her “It’s Showtime” family, most especially to the team working behind who work hard every single day.

“Walang tulog ‘yang mga ‘yan, but they continue to inspire each and every one of us to spread love and happiness to the madlang people,” she said.

Aside from their individual and group number, Team AJT brought out the Nation's Girl Group BINI to perform their song "I Feel Good.”

This year's "Magpasikat" celebrates the 15th anniversary of "It's Showtime." It is also the first "Magpasikat" that aired on GMA Network.

On Wednesday, Team VIDA (Vhong Navarro, Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, Amy Perez) delivered a message about living the good life while highlighting the importance of family.

On Tuesday, Team Ogie Diaz, Kim Chiu, MC, and Lassy highlighted the importance of rest and self-care through their performance.

On Monday, Team Vice Ganda, Karylle, and Ryan Bang delivered an essential message of hope.

Team Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez will present the last "Magpasikat" performance on Friday.

The judges for this year's "Magpasikat" performance include director Rory Quintos, Gabbi Garcia, Donny Pangilinan, Alice Dixson, and former president of ABS-CBN Freddie "FMG" Garcia.
