Kim Chiu grateful for 'Magpasikat' teammates: ‘I consider myself incredibly lucky to be part of this team’

Kim Chiu is nothing short of grateful for her "Magpasikat" teammates Ogie Alcasid, MC, and Lassy after they pulled off an incredible performance on "It's Showtime" on Tuesday.

On Instagram, the Chinita Princess shared a carousel of photos from their "Magpasikat" performance and wrote a heartfelt letter for her team.

“To #TeamOgieKimMCLassy, I just want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for all the hard work, dedication, and team spirit each of you has shown,” she said.

“In such a short amount of time, we’ve managed to come together and deliver a performance that is nothing short of remarkable."

She went on to thank everyone for playing their respective roles, for their commitment and contribution, and for “going the extra mile.”

“It’s not just about the outcome, but about how we worked as a team, supporting each other, and finding solutions together. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with,” Kim said. “I consider myself incredibly lucky to be part of this team."

Ending her post, Kim gave a huge shoutout not only to Ogie, Lassy and MC, but also to the production team and Asia's Phoenix Morissette Amon, who made a special appearance with her rendition of "Isa Pang Araw" by Sarah Geronimo.

“Tigil. Hinga. Kalma,” Kim ended, which is also the theme of their performance.

On Tuesday, their team highlighted the importance of taking time to rest and prioritizing self-care through a show that included a soulful original song by Ogie, a skit about personal struggles by MC and Lassy, and an interpretive circus-like dance by Kim.

The message of Kim's dance was about the struggles of offering something new all the time when you work in the show business industry.

The "Magpasikat" teams have been delivering powerful messages on top of their incredible performances. On Wednesday, the Team VIDA of Vhong Navarro, Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, and Amy Perez delivered a message about living a good life while highlighting the importance of family.

Meanwhile, Team Vice Ganda, Karylle and Ryan Bang delivered an essential message of hope on Monday, and even brought SB19, Carlos Yulo, and Awra Briguela onstage.

Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz will take the stage on Thursday, while Team Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez will present their performance on Friday.

The judges for this year's "Magpasikat" performance include Gabbi Garcia, Donny Pangilinan, Alice Dixson, and former president of ABS-CBN Freddie "FMG" Garcia.
