Vice Ganda on Ion Perez’s ‘Magpasikat’ performance: ‘I’m just very proud of him’

Vice Ganda is visibly proud of her husband Ion Perez’s performance on “‘It’s Showtime” Magpasikat Wednesday.

Ion did an impressive buwis-buhay performance, showcasing his strength, balance, and agility using a moving panel minus harness, up on air.

Following Team V.I.D.A.'s performance, Vice said she’s just “very proud” of Ion.

“Hindi naman talaga siya performer eh, pero binibigay niya ‘yung makakayanan niya para makapag-contribute sa grupong ito,” Vice said.

Saying he really "worked so hard" for the performance, Vice said she and the people around him can see and appreciate Ion's efforts.

“Lahat ng kaya mo, ibibigay at naiibigay mo, nakikita namin ‘yon na nagmamahal sa’yo. Sapat ‘yon. Na-a-appreciate namin at ikinamamahal namin sa’yo lalo,” the TV host and comedienne added.

Vhong piped in and thanked Ion for not giving up on the performance.

Ion teamed up with Vhong Navarro, Darren Espanto and Amy Perez for this year’s "Magpasikat." Team V.I.D.A. delivered a message about living a good life while highlighting the importance of family.

The "Magpasikat" teams have been delivering powerful messages on top of their incredible performances. On Tuesday, Team Ogie Diaz, Kim Chiu, MC, and Lassy highlighted the importance of rest and self-care through their performance.

On Monday, Team Vice Ganda, Karylle, and Ryan Bang delivered an essential message of hope.

Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz will take the stage on Thursday.

Team Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez will present their performance on Friday.

The judges for this year's "Magpasikat" performance include Gabbi Garcia, Donny Pangilinan, Alice Dixson, and former president of ABS-CBN Freddie "FMG" Garcia.
