Heart Evangelista says she ‘never had a problem’ with Pia Wurtzbach

Heart Evangelista finally broke her silence amid issues surrounding her and Pia Wurtzbach.

At Tuesday's press conference for her upcoming show, “Heart World,” the Global Fashion Icon made it clear that she “never had a problem” with Pia.

"Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia," Heart began.

“In fact, I was one of those who cheered for her in the past. And I’d like to think that it was the same for her,” she added.

The Kapuso star even recalled how touched she was when Pia posted #HeartMadeMeDoIt on her social media.

“But it’s the people that she chose to surround herself with for specific reasons that makes this whole thing problematic,” she said.

As her message for the beauty queen, Heart said, “Congratulations. You have what you needed. I wish you nothing but the best, and good luck."

"Sana hindi mangyari sa ‘yo ‘yung nangyari sa ‘kin," Heart added.

She continued, “I just want everybody to be OK, that’s all honestly. It’s time for us to sincerely move forward. It is what it is. And everybody should just be happy.”

According to the Sparkle star, she had already forgiven and she has moved on.

“If there’s anybody that will understand somebody, it’s somebody na tunay na nagmahal at minahal ko silang lahat,” she said. “Tama na, OK na ‘yon. I just want to stay on my lane, that’s it.”

Issues surrounding Heart and Pia began when the former Miss Universe queen started working closely with Heart's ex-glam team, Jeck Aguilar and Justin Soriano.

The two Filipina celebrities have been making waves in recent fashion weeks. Last week, Heart topped Launchmetrics’ list of Paris Fashion Week celebrities, while Pia got the third spot.

Heart will return to TV with "Heart World." The 10-episode reality series will premiere at 9pm on Saturday Oct. 26 on GMA.
