On Instagram, GMA Pictures unveiled the first look at Dennis' and Ruru's characters in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry.
As seen in the photos, Dennis will play an inmate, while Ruru is a prison guard. Another photo showed the silhouettes of characters hanging around under a tree with the magnificent sunset as the backdrop.

"Green Bones" is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs. The screenplay was written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. It will be directed by Zig Dulay, the filmmaker behind “Firefly.”
