Lola Amour's trumpet player Angelo Mesina now a licensed doctor

Lola Amour's Angelo Mesina is now a licensed physician!

The band announced the happy news on Facebook with a childhood photo of their trumpet player with the text, “Noon pa, gusto ko na maging doctor,” and another of him wearing medical scrubs. They also posted a screenshot of Mesina’s name on the list of passers of the October 2024 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE).

“Our boy made it!!!!!” Lola Amour said in their caption. “Everyone say congratulations Doc Mesina for passing the boards!!”

Fans filled the comments section with messages of congratulations for Mesina.

Lola Amour released their self-titled debut album in April, and celebrated with a grand album launch at the Circuit Makati Event Grounds and a sold-out show at Draft Punk in Cebu in April.

The band also went on tour in support of the album from May to July.

This month, the band announced that they are writing new music and have been working with producers in Malaysia.

Lola Amour is best known for the songs, “Fallen,” “Maybe Maybe,” “Umiinit,” “Namimiss Ko Na,” and of course, “Raining in Manila.”
