Marian Rivera 'transforms' into Sassa Gurl in her 'Lambada' dance video

Marian Rivera's new TikTok dance video comes with a little surprise!

On Tuesday evening, the Kapuso Primetime Queen uploaded a video of herself jiving to “Lambada.”

But 15 seconds into Marian’s mesmerizing dance moves, she suddenly turned, and Sassa Gurl appeared wearing an outfit similar to Marian’s.

When Sassa turned again, Marian returned on screen.

“Mother, parang balato mo na sa ‘kin to,” Sassa said.

Marian asked, “Sure ka ba?”

Marian then left the frame after Sassa handed her a yellow ballot box, saying, “Yes, mother, sure na sure. At dahil diyan, Teacher Emmy, magbilang ka muna ng boto.”

In the comments, Sassa wrote, “SOBRANG MAGKAMUKA.”

As of this writing, Marian and Sassa’s video has already reached over 3.1 million plays and over 600,000 likes.

Marian and Sassa are stars of “Balota,” which is returning to Philippine cinemas starting Wednesday, October 16, with a new cut.

Marian’s highly praised performance as Teacher Emmy led her to win the Best Actress trophy at the Cinemalaya awards night. She shared the honor with Gabby Padilla.

Discounted “Balota” cinema tickets will be granted to eligible teachers and students who bring their valid school ID to the cinemas.
