Lola Amour teases new music

Lola Amour is back in the studio!

In a tweet on Thursday, the Filipino band said they are currently in Malaysia, “writing about 6 songs with some amazing producers.”

“[Two] songs down and can’t wait for you guys to hear them!!” they added.

Lola Amour released their self-titled debut album in April, and celebrated with a grand album launch at the Circuit Makati Event Grounds and a sold-out show at Draft Punk in Cebu in April. The band had several surprises at the Makati show, including a witty merch booth, appearances by Dante Gulapa and PLAYERTWO, and literally making it rain in Manila.

The band also went on tour in support of the album from May to July.

Lola Amour is best known for the songs, “Fallen,” “Maybe Maybe,” “Umiinit,” “Namimiss Ko Na,” and of course, “Raining in Manila," which Michael V. made a parody of for "Bubble Gang" last year.
