‘Balota’ starring Marian Rivera to offer discounted tickets for students and teachers

“Balota” starring Marian Rivera has a special treat for teachers and students out there!

On Instagram, GMA Pictures announced that students and teachers are eligible for discounted tickets in all cinemas where “Balota” will be screened. All they have to do is bring their valid school ID.

"Balota" is one of the box office hits at Cinemalaya 2024 . Marian’s performance as Teacher Emmy in the film earned her the Best Actress award at the Cinemalaya Film Festival in August. She shared the award with Gabby Padilla.

It will be screened in Philippine cinemas again starting October 16 with a new cut.

The film will also have its international premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival in October.

Aside from Marian , the "Balota" cast includes Will Ashley, Royce Cabrera, Sassa Gurl, Esnyr, Raheel Bhyria, Nico Antonio, Donna Cariaga, Joel Saracho, Sue Prado, Mae Paner, and Gardo Versoza.

"Balota" was directed by Kip Oebanda. It was produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Entertainment Group.
