Lianne Valentin joins cast of upcoming film 'Untold' with Jodi Sta. Maria

Lianne Valentin is set to star in the upcoming horror film, “Untold,” with Jodi Sta. Maria!

In a media conference on Saturday, the Sparkle star admitted that preparing for her role was not easy.

“This is something really on a deeper sense ng psychological, so mahirap po actually with preparing the role,” Lianne said.

According to the actress, she likes watching lighthearted movies after filming days, so she could distract herself from the scary scenes they did.

“Ang ginagawa ko nalang is kumbaga nagpapagpag nalang po ako. Nanonood ako ng comedy film or love story para lang makalimutan ko ‘yung mga anxiety or naiisip ko sa utak ko,” she said.

Lianna said that she’s very happy about the project, which she called “very challenging and exciting.”

“I’m very grateful to be part of this,” she said.

“Untold” will also star Juan Karlos Labajo, Kaori Oinuma, and more.

It is directed by Roderick Cabrido and written by Enrico Santos and Anton Santamaria.

More details on the movie have yet to be released.

According to Regal Entertainment Executive Vice President Keith Monteverde, “Untold” is one of the last three films from his late grandmother, Mother Lily Monteverde.

Lianne recently starred in “Royal Blood” with Megan Young, Dingdong Dantes, Mikael Daez, Rhian Ramos, and more.

Last July, she made a crossover on “Widows’ War” as Beatrice Royales. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
