David Archuleta after Philippine concert: 'Thank you for an incredible night'

David Archuleta could not hide his happiness at having performed in the Philippines again.

After his Playback Presents: The Best of David Archuleta Live in Manila concert at the New Frontier Theater on September 14, the singer penned an appreciation post for his fans on Instagram.

“So great to be back after 6 years,” David said. “Philippines I missed you!!!”

“Thank you for an incredible night,” he added.

David was thrilled to be back in the Philippines to reunite with his Pinoy fans.

“I just feel so a part of everyone here, and they're a part of my life now,” he said in an interview on “Unang Hirit.”

He was also so happy about eating Philippine mangoes again.

David rose to fame after finishing as first runner-up on “American Idol” Season 7.

He spent six weeks in the Philippines in 2012 to film a series.

The singer was last in the country in 2018 for a fundraising concert and was able to try some Filipino holiday delicacies during his stay.

He is known for the songs “Crush,” “A Little Too Not Over You,” “Something ‘Bout Love,” and a cover of the OPM ballad, “Forevermore” by Side A. He also has a dreamy cover of South Border’s “Rainbow,” which he dedicated to his Filipino fans.
