Jillian Ward reveals Kim Ji Soo was ‘very masungit’ at first

Kim Ji Soo shared that he has now gotten more comfortable on the set of “Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap.”

In Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, the South Korean actor said that Jillian Ward really helped him in adjusting to the environment.

“She helped me a lot to get used to the set,” Ji Soo said.

According to Jillian, she noticed that Ji Soo was a bit more reserved at first, so she kept on bugging him to do TikTok videos with her just so that he would feel more comfortable.

“He’s really quiet, so I started to ask him to do TikToks with me,” she said. “At first, he was very masungit.”

“I told him, ‘Can we do TikToks?’ He’s like, ‘No, no, no! I don’t want to do TikToks! I don’t dance!’ And now, he’s a TikToker,” she said.

Ji Soo also shared that he used to feel awkward in the beginning. Today, he enjoys doing TikTok dance videos, quipping, "Now, I'm a professional TikToker."

Ji Soo joined the top-rating GMA Afternoon Prime series last month, where he plays the role of Dr. Kim Young.

According to him, Jillian is a very good actress and also called her “very energetic.”

Among the TikTok trends the two Sparkle stars did together was the “Tiramisu Cake” dance.

Previously, Ji Soo appeared in the GMA Network action drama series “Black Rider” as Adrian Park. In the action-packed series, his character participated in a gunfight scene, spoke Tagalog and English, and had several interactions with Yassi Pressman’s character, Vanessa.

He also graced the GMA Gala 2024 and won the Scene Stealer Award.

Ji Soo also has an upcoming film, "Mujigae," with Rufa Mae Quinto, Alexa Ilacad, and more.
