Julie Anne San Jose says hosting 'The Clash' reminds her of her singing competition days

Julie Anne San Jose was overjoyed when she found out that “The Clash” was coming back for another season.

During Thursday’s media conference for the Kapuso singing competition, Asia’s Limitless Star said that the project is “very, very close” to her heart.

“Sobrang saya ko nung nalaman namin na magkakaroon ulit ng ‘The Clash,’ it’s such a great opportunity because para na kasi kaming pamilya dito eh,” Julie Anne said.

“It reminds me of the good old days na nasa singing competition pa ako. So very nostalgic because nakikita ko ‘yung mga Clashers na talagang sabik sila na makakuha at marating ‘yung mga pangarap nila,” she added.

Julie Anne also expressed gratitude to GMA Network for producing such an all-original singing and reality search.

According to the Sparkle star, it gives “opportunities para sa lahat ng mga gustong maging performer, maging singer.”

“Sobrang grateful, sobrang happy, and we’re just very, very excited for this season,” she said.

Julie Anne will serve as Clash Master anew with her boyfriend, Rayver Cruz.

Also returning as judges are Lani Misalucha, Christian Bautista, and AiAi Delas Alas.

"The Clash" Season 6 will start airing on September 14 at 7:15 p.m. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
