Buboy Villar gives HaHa-signed name tag to ‘Running Man Philippines’ fan who lost her baby

Buboy Villar has given his “Running Man Philippines” name tag to a fan who lost her baby.

On Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Buboy together with his fellow runners Glaiza de Castro and Lexi Gonzales met Shane Kara Dela Cruz, a fan of the show who coped with the loss of her baby by watching "Running Man Philippines."

In her visit to "Fast Talk," Shane gave Buboy, Glaiza Lexi and even Tito Boy, customized t-shirts she made herself, and shared how the show helped her cope with her baby’s loss.

“During the whole recovery, so sa bahay lang ako. So YouTube paulit-ulit, araw-araw.

[While recovering at home, I would watch it on YouTube, every day. I would watch it continuously, like on a playlist. I watched the show so much, I knew what would happen next.]

[I knew when the funny parts would show, and would laugh by myself, Even while washing the dishes, I'd just play "Running Man" in the background.]

According to Shane, watching the show gives her a “different” and “special” feeling.

Shane expressed her gratitude to the show and the runners, saying "'Running Man' is my daugter's way of saying that life gets better."

"It’s the Lord’s way of telling me that it will get better. And it’s getting better. I’m here,” she said.

According to Shane, meeting some of the runners is a “surreal” moment for her.

So parang Lord is doing something special.”

[I thought I would meet you backstage but I'm here. I'm happy that "Running Man" gets to read my messages. I'm OK with that, but yesterday someone from the show messaged me. Today marks the 3rd month I lost my baby. So it's like the Lord is doing something special.]

Turning emotional, the runners expressed their gratitude to Shane.

Buboy, who was left speechless, peeled off his name tag and gave it to Shane.

Feeling ko mas deserve mo ito,” Buboy said and hugged Shane.

[This came from HaHa but I'll give it to you. It has my name on it and HaHa has signed it. But you should have it. I feel you deserve it.]

Lexi, meanwhile, thanked Shane for her support and called her “brave.”

As for Glaiza, she said fans like Shane inspire her and her fellow runners to do well in the missions.

[If we are able to make you happy, you must know you also make us happy, because people like inspire us to fight and face our missions.]

She shared that through "Running Man," they are also able to learn how to face life even if they don't feel ready.

"Running Man Philippines,” now on its second season stars Glaiza, Buboy, Lexi, Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Mikael Daez and Angel Guardian.

It will air its finale this weekend at 7:15 p.m. on GMA Network.
