What does it take to be part of SB19 Pablo’s team in ‘The Voice Kids Philippines?’ P-pop star answers
Now that Pablo of SB19 is the newest coach of “The Voice Kids Philippines,” does he have any specific qualities he's looking for in contestants?
According to the P-pop star, he wants someone who is open to his teachings.
“Wala akong masyadong hinahanap pagdating sa quality, gusto ko lang talaga ‘yung magiging open kapag tinuruan,” Pablo said in an interview with GMA News Online on Wednesday.
“Siguro hindi ko hahanapin ‘yung pinakamagagaling, kasi gusto ko mag-work talaga kami together ng mapipili ko,” he added.
Pablo also said he is after someone who is “confident” and “very committed” to their craft.
Previously, Pablo shared that he was genuinely shocked when he was offered to be a coach in "The Voice Kids Philippines" because his fellow SB19 member, Stell, is already a coach in the show.
In July, Stell and Julie Anne San Jose announced in their concert that Pablo will be the newest coach of the singing competition.
"The Voice Kids" first teased its "superstar coach" with a photo of Pablo showing only the back of his head, his ear, and his hand.
Julie Anne, Stell, and Pablo will be joined by Billy Crawford, who also sat in the coaches' chair in "The Voice Generations" last year.
"The Voice Kids Philippines" will be airing starting September 15.
