What made SB19's Pablo say yes to joining 'The Voice Kids PH' as coach?

What made SB19's Pablo say yes to coaching in 'The Voice Kids Philippines?'

Pablo of SB19 said he was genuinely shocked when he was offered to be a coach in "The Voice Kids Philippines."

In a media conference on Wednesday, the P-pop star said he did not expect it because his fellow SB19 member, Stell, is already on the show.

But what made him say yes to the offer?

"For me parang sobrang interested din ako sa kanya kasi nasa point in life ako na gusto ko na ibahagi ‘yung knowledge na natutunan ko especially sa pagpe-perform with these guys (SB19) for almost seven years. And mahilig din ako mag-produce so it felt like right opportunity siya for me," he said.

"Kaya talaga na nung sinabi sa akin na gusto mo bang maging coach sa 'The Voice Kids?' Pinag-isipan ko nang mabuti,  pero sabi ko, i-grab ko na ito kasi ito na 'yung opportunity para maibahagi ko kung ano 'yung natutunan ko for the past years."

In July, Stell and Julie Anne San Jose announced in their concert that Pablo will be the newest coach of the singing competition.

"The Voice Kids" first teased its "superstar coach" with a photo of Pablo showing only the back of his head, his ear, and his hand.

Julie Anne, Stell, and Pablo will be joined by Billy Crawford, who also sat in the coaches' chair in "The Voice Generations" last year.

"The Voice Kids Philippines" will be airing starting September 15.
