Coney Reyes has a short but thoughtful love advice for Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez

More than just acting and showbiz advice, Kyline Alcantara and Kate Valdez also receive some wise life lessons from Coney Reyes.

At Friday's media conference for their upcoming series, “Shining Inheritance,” Coney gave the young actresses a short but thoughtful reminder when it comes to love.

“Kung masaya sila, edi OK lang ‘di ba?” the veteran actress said.

“Basta sinasabi ko, mag-ingat lang sila. Pahalagahan nila ang sarili nila. ‘Yan lang ang masasabi ko,” Coney added.

Kate acknowledged and accepted the sweet advice, saying, “Thank you, tita. Opo, tita. Noted po.”

Kyline also expressed her gratitude for Coney, saying she often seeks her help.

“Alam naman po ni Tita Coney at marami naman po kaming mga usapan ni Tita Coney sa kaniyang dressing room. Pinupuntahan ko po talaga si Tita Coney kasi iba talaga ‘yung wisdom po eh ni Tita Coney, ibang klase,” Kyline said.

According to Kyline, she thinks she’s now closer to God because of Coney.

“I’m just really thankful po for Tita Coney,” she said. “Thank you for always looking out for us, for guiding us, for sharing your wisdom. You are very generous, Tita Coney. We all love you.”

Kyline is currently being linked with Kobe Paras. They were previously spotted in BGC and were also seen getting cozy at a private event.

However, Kyline recently said that she’s not yet confirming or denying anything about the real status of their relationship.

"I feel like it's my right to not answer or to answer questions, or to deny nor confirm anything. I don't need to explain myself din naman po to other people. Whatever they see, that's what they're gonna get," Kyline said.

Meanwhile, Kate sparked dating rumors with Fumiya Sankai earlier this month after they went on a Disneyland trip together.

When asked in an interview on “24 Oras” if they’re dating each other, Kate answered, "Sobrang happy kami sa isa't isa, sa presence ng isa't isa."

She also said that she's "very at peace" whenever she's with Fumiya.

Kate, Kyline, and Coney will star in the “Shining Inheritance” adaptation with Michael Sager, Paul Salas, and more.

"Shining Inheritance" originally starred Lee Seung Gi, Han Hyo Joo, Moon Chae Won, and Bae Soo Bin.
