Kim Ji Soo in talks for Kapuso primetime drama
Kim Ji Soo may just return to Philippine primetime television soon!
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, GMA Network Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable said that the South Korean actor is in talks for a drama series.
This is after Kim Ji Soo signed a management contract with Sparkle on Wednesday.
"Meron pang isang project na niluluto. Drama rin for primetime, so abangan na lang nila pero meron na 'yun," Rasonable said.
GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said that they're happy to have Kim Ji Soo with GMA and Sparkle.
"I think he will add another level to Sparkle and also we know his skills and talents. And I'm happy that he will now share it with the Filipino people and I hope na abangan ang lahat kaniyang lahat ng projects dito sa GMA," she said.
For his part, Ji Soo is interested to work with Barbie Forteza and also Ruru Madrid.
Previously, he appeared in GMA Prime action series "Black Rider" as Adrian Park. His character participated in a gunfight scene, spoke Tagalog and English, and had several interactions with Yassi Pressman's character, Vanessa.
He is also currently starring in "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap," where he plays the role of Dr. Kim Young. He visits APEX Medical Hospital and encounters Jillian Ward's character, Dr. Analyn Santos.
