Kyline Alcantara on viral video with Kobe Paras: 'I don't owe the public any explanation'

Kyline Alcantara is not giving away more details on her recent sightings and interactions with Kobe Paras.

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the two were seen getting cozy with each other at a private event.

"I feel like it's my right to not answer or to answer questions, or to deny nor confirm anything. I don't need to explain myself din naman po to other people. Whatever they see, that's what they're gonna get," Kyline said.

"And as long as alam ng pamilya ko at 'yung mga close kong mga kaibigan or my loved ones what's really happening behind cameras, I feel like I don't owe the public any explanation naman po," the Sparkle star said.

Kyline had also said that she has no "exact words to describe" what she and Kobe have.

"It's a different feeling po," she said. "Lumalabas na lang siya through actions or auras, I guess."

The two sparked dating rumors in May when eagle-eyed netizens noticed their simultaneous posting of photos taken at the same restaurant at nearly the same time.

Kobe also first reposted Kyline's photo on his Instagram Stories with a white heart emoji in the same month.

Shortly after, the two were spotted holding hands in Taguig City.

When Kyline graced the cover of Mega magazine, Kobe showed support by reposting the cover and saying, "My covergirl."

Kyline was among the stars who graced the GMA Gala 2024, where Kobe was also present. He told GMA News Online that he and Kyline are just "great friends."

Kyline is set to star in the upcoming Kapuso adaptation of the K-drama "Shining Inheritance," along with Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, Michael Sager, and Coney Reyes.
