Kate Valdez speaks up on real score with Fumiya Sankai, says Disneyland trip was a gift from him

Kate Valdez's recent birthday trip to Hong Kong Disneyland with Fumiya Sankai was a gift from the Japanese vlogger and artist, the actress revealed.

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Kate said that Fumiya asked her what she wanted for her special day.

"'Yung trip na 'yun, it was a gift for me from him. Gusto niyang i-spend 'yung special day ko with me. So tinanong niya ko kung ano 'yung gusto ko, and then I told him na 'Parang gusto kong ma-experience 'yung Disneyland,'" Kate said.

The Sparkle star said that she's "very at peace" whenever she's with Fumiya.

When asked if they're dating each other, Kate answered, "Ano, Tito Lhar, sobrang happy kami sa isa't isa, sa presence ng isa't isa."

Kate also said that she's in love.

"Sobra. And I'm happy, and I'm grateful for him," she said.

Kate and Fumiya first met each other at an event.

"Kasi now, he's an artist na. He's making songs, music, ganiyan, so um-attend ako, and then I met him. And then 'yun, tuluy-tuloy na po," Kate said.

Kate is set to star in the Philippine remake of the hit K-drama "Shining Inheritance" alongside Kyline Alcantara, Michael Sager, Paul Salas, and Coney Reyes.

Meanwhile, Fumiya rose to fame when he joined a Philippine reality show in 2019.
