SB19's 1Z Entertainment holds audition for girl group

SB19 is looking to build 1Z Entertainment's first girl group.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the P-pop Kings said they have already held auditions for prospective group members.

According to the them, creating a girl group is something they have thought about for a long time.

"Kasi siyempre hindi siya madaling bagay. Kami nga, hirap na hirap na i-handle ang sarili namin and mag-hahandle pa ng ibang group?" Pablo said, adding that it is something that they really wanted to do.

"Alam po namin na equipped naman kami kasi we have the right people na tumulong talaga sa amin. We have the right teachers, the right mentors," he shared. "Siguro sa sustainability ng project na 'yon talagang pinag-aralan po siya at alam naman naming hindi kami magkakaproblema."

1Z Entertainment is SB19's own entertainment company after departing from their former label ShowBT in June 2023.

SB19 debuted in 2018. Composed of Pablo, Josh, Ken, Stell, and Justin, the group is known for their songs "GENTO," "MAPA," and "Kalakal."

The group and its fandom A'TIN recently won the Billboard Fan Army Face-Off 2024, bagging the honors for the second year in a row.

SB19 is set to release a documentary film about their "Pagtatag!" era in cinemas from August 28 to September 1.
