Sanya Lopez thanks fans for debut-style surprise party: 'One of the best birthdays of my life'

Sanya Lopez is “feeling beyond blessed” because her loyal fan club, Sanya Warriors, surprised her with a debut-style birthday party.

On Instagram, the First Lady of Primetime shared snaps from the celebration, where everybody was dressed to the nines. The venue was decorated with sunflowers and Sanya’s favorite color, yellow. Sanya’s mom and managers were also part of the surprise party.

“[Akala] ko tapos na birthday ko. Hindi pa pala, and I can’t even put into words how much it means to me,” Sanya wrote in her caption. “Nasurprise po talaga ako. In fairness sa lahat ng ginawa ninyo. Ang galing na di ko talaga nahalata. Naipaready nyo pa ang gown ah.”

Sanya shared that she never had a debut, which is why her fans made it the theme for her 28th birthday.

“Ang masasabi ko lang, that yesterday is one of the best birthdays of my life. Huli man ako nag-debut, ngunit ipinaramdam nyo sakin maging 18 ulit,” the actress said. “Naisayaw at nakasama ko yung mga taong mahal ko at mahal ako.”

She added, “Your love and support always melt my heart. Thank you for being my constant source of strength and happiness!”

Prior to this, Sanya marked her 28th birthday with stunning portraits and vacationed in Bali, Indonesia, to recharge.

The cast and crew of “Pulang Araw” also surprised their Teresita with a celebration on set.

"Pulang Araw" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also streaming on Netflix.
