David Licauco praised by 'Pulang Araw' writer Suzette Doctolero for performance in series
David Licauco has received a pat on the back from "Pulang Araw" writer Suzette Doctolero for his acting performance in the series.
On X (formerly Twitter), the seasoned writer praised David for how he improved in his craft as an actor.
"Pinatunayan ni David na mahusay siyang umarte, hindi nagpahuli. Lahat ng artista, sa kahit na anong istasyon, lagi sana nating bigyan ng chance to improve their craft. At nagagawa ito ni David. Siya si Hiroshi Tanaka. Arigato goizamasu, David!" Suzette wrote.
David's character is the son of Japanese immigrants in the Philippines.
"Pulang Araw" traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends, Adelina (Barbie Forteza), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), Hiroshi, and Eduardo (Alden Richards), before and during World War II.
The show airs on GMA Prime on weekdays at 8 p.m. and also streams on Netflix.
