Miguel Tanfelix, Andrea Torres pair up for the first time in 'Magkailanman' episode

Miguel Tanfelix and Andrea Torres are starring as on-screen partners for the very first time in the upcoming episode of "Magpakailanman."

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, Andrea will play Maribeth, a 26-year-old teacher who gets into a relationship with 17-year-old Eric (Miguel).

Andrea admitted it felt a little awkward and challenging to work with Miguel at first, because they treat each other as siblings in real-life. They also had to do intimate scenes.

"Sabi ko sa kanya na, 'Huwag mo muna ako ina-Ate Ada kasi parang nakaka-weird nung feeling 'di ba," she said.

"Pero actually kaya ko talaga 'to tinanggap bukod sa naantig ako dun sa story kasi gusto ko makatrabaho si Miguel," she added.

Miguel, for his part, said he got comfortable acting with Andrea.

"Alam kong kung ano man 'yung mangyari sa scene parang saluhan po kami dun. Ang goal namin is pagandahin 'yung bawat eksena," he said.

Miguel currently stars in "Running Man Philippines" Season 2. He also has an upcoming series titled "Mga Batang Riles."

Meanwhile, Andrea said she is currently on break from working on drama series. She last starred in "Love Before Sunrise" with Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo.
