Sandro Muhlach opens up on alleged rape incident: ‘It wrecked me’

Trigger warning: This article contains content on anxiety, sexual abuse, and trauma.
Sandro Muhlach took to social media to detail what he has been going through since the alleged rape incident involving him and two independent GMA contractors in July.
In an Instagram Stories post, Sandro said he has not been getting enough sleep since the incident happened.
“What you did to me, it wrecked me,” he began.
“Hirap na hirap ako makatulog since it happened. Anxiety and [PTSDs] are hard to beat,” he added.
“Diring diri pa rin ako sa sarili ko. Napakahirap tanggapin lahat [nang] ginawa sa’kin,” he said.
“I’m trying my best to be okay para hindi mag-alala ‘yung pamilya ko lalo na ‘yung mommy ko na nasa America na araw-araw umiiyak dahil sinisisi niya ang sarili niya na malayo siya at hindi ako naprotektahan,” Sandro said.
After admitting he is still not okay, Sandro thanked his friends and family, who have been checking up on him.
“Ang laban ko ay para [rin] sa lahat ng inabuso,” he said.
“The truth will prevail,” he added.
Earlier this week, Sandro and the National Bureau of Investigation filed a complaint against two independent contractors, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, for alleged sexual assault.
Last week, Nones and Cruz attended the resumption of a Senate inquiry and denied they sexually assaulted Sandro.
GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said GMA has suspended the two independent contracts while the probe is ongoing.
