Yassi Pressman meets driver who named daughter after her
Yassi Pressman had a heartwarming encounter with a driver of a ride-hailing service who named his daughter after her.
In an Instagram Reel, the actress shared her conversation with Kuya Josh, who told the story of naming his daughter Yassi. He also showed a photo of her little girl.
Yassi said in her caption, “Commuter mode yesterday and what are the odds that I met Kuya Josh, my driver yesterday, who named his daughter after me?! I cry!!”
The video showed Yassi actually crying, as he told the driver, "Kuya, ang swerte ko naman na ikaw nag-drive sa ‘kin. Naiyak naman ako."
She also filmed a video greeting for baby Yassi and Kuya Josh’s wife.
“Thank you po sa pagpapangalan. Kuya, salamat po,” Yassi said.
When Yassi reached her destination, she added, “Kinilig naman ako dun.”
Yassi also gave a reminder to her followers: “The universe will always have a way of telling you that you are surrounded by so much love and I hope you guys feel that too.”
“I love you guys, salamat palagi,” the actress added.
Yassi last appeared in the Kapuso action drama series “Black Rider” as Ruru Madrid’s leading lady, Bane. She said it is one of her favorite roles. Yassi showed off her action star side in the series, and had several scenes with South Korean actor Kim Ji Soo.
Yassi is also part of the Filipino-South Korean movie, “The Guardian,” playing Sandara, an aspiring K-Pop idol.
She debuted at the GMA Gala in July, where she walked the red carpet with her boyfriend, Luigi Villafuerte.
