Mikael Daez hilariously gets drunk after 'Running Man Philippines' challenge

Mikael Daez just proved that he's the funny type of drunk.

In an episode of “Running Man Philippines,” the cast unexpectedly had to drink alcohol for a challenge before heading off to another task.

Mikael shared hilarious clips from that filming day in an Instagram Reel.

“POV: First time na kailangan uminom ng beer sa trabaho,” the Kapuso actor wrote.

The beer got to Kapitan Mikael and he ended up lying down on the floor of the SBS Building in South Korea wearing his sunglasses. Mikael said that they just got back to the building to prepare for the nametag challenge, but were waiting for fellow Runners Kokoy De Santos and Angel Guardian to finish their own challenge.

In the video, fellow runner Lexi Gonzales could be seen consoling Mikael and offering him water, but he kept declining. Glaiza De Castro, who was taking the video, could not hold back her laughter.

“As friends, I think most of us found this particular chapter to be memorable because we didn’t expect the challenges to have us drink beer! Sobrang caught off guard kami! We also saw such different sides to one another,” Mikael said in his caption.

He added that “a lot of the unexpected happened.”

“I immediately knocked out (yes, I was on the floor) since hindi pa natatapos ng GeKoy yung challenge nila. Good times,” he added.

Running Man Philippines,” the local adaptation of the hilarious South Korean variety show, premiered in 2022. Angel was named the first Ultimate Runner.

The cast opened the “Run 2 U” show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena early this month, and was able to meet the OG South Korean Runners.

Sandara Park, Josh of SB19, Nancy McDonie, and HaHa are among the guests this season.
