Gabbi Garcia excited to do fight scenes with Scott Adkins in 'Death March'

Gabbi Garcia has a front-row seat to Hollywood actor Scott Adkins doing what he does best as they work on the international film "Death March."

In her interview with Aubrey Carampel on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Gabbi said she will play a Filipina nurse serving at a camp for prisoners of war.

Scott, meanwhile, will portray a British soldier at the camp.

"Exciting kasi s'yempre makakaeksena ko si Scott dito sa mga fight scenes na 'to. Nae-excite din akong makita siya in action," Gabbi said.

The Sparkle star said Scott is very open to helping his castmates.

"Kahit hindi niya shot, kunyari shot ko lang, he still supports me in the scene. Talagang nag-e-effort siya and he's easy to talk to very easy to, have a conversation with," she said.

Scott is also all praises for Gabbi and the film staff.

"She's a lovely girl, very nice, great actress. I'm enjoying it here in the Philippines. I'm having a good time working with all the crew, they're very hardworking," he said.

Scott is in the Philippines for the first time and he took his family with him to experience the country.

"We have gone some places around the Subic Bay they've been having a good time, enjoying the food," he said. "Thank you for looking after me and giving me a warm greeting here in the country."

Gabbi is set to reprise her role as Alena in upcoming "Encantadia" spinoff "Sang'gre." Scott, meanwhile, is known for his roles in "John Wick: Chapter 4," as well as martial arts films "Undisputed II: Last Man Standing," "Undisputed III: Redemption," and "Boyka: Undisputed," among others.

"Death March" is co-produced by Alden Richards's multimedia company, Myriad Corporation.
