Chanty of Lapillus excited to work with Sparkle teen stars in 'Maka'

Chanty of Lapillus is looking forward to working with her co-stars in the upcoming GMA Public Affairs weekly show "Maka."

As seen in Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Chanty already met with the cast and did a pictorial shoot with everyone.

A youth-oriented show, "Maka" stars Zephanie, Dylan Menor, Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, John Clifford, Olive May, Sean Lucas, and "Bangus Girl" May Ann Basa.

"I expect to be closer with the cast and since this is my first project po with GMA I'm so excited to get to know more of 'yung mga makakasama ko pong mga actors and actresses dito sa show," Chanty  said.

Meanwhile, the young artists were also equally excited to work with the K-pop idol.

"Medyo na-starstruck po ako sa kanya," said Ashley.

"She's very sweet and sobrang bait niya po," Olive added.

John, for his part, said he is curious what it is like to work with Chanty on set.

Aside from the Sparkle teen stars, Romnick Sarmenta is also part of "Maka" as the teacher in the show.

"Maka" is set to premiere this September.
