Heart Evangelista, Chiz Escudero share snaps with Carlos Yulo and fellow PH Olympians

Heart Evangelista and her husband Senate President Chiz Escudero were among those who welcomed home the Filipino Olympians from Paris 2024 Olympics upon their arrival in Manila on Tuesday night. 

In a social media post, Heart and Chiz shared a snap with Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his girlfriend Chloe San Jose. They also took a photo with world no. 2 pole vaulter EJ Obiena.

On Instagram Stories, Heart shared several snaps with our Olympians, including a selfie of with Filipino-Canadian swimmer Kayla Sanchez and her family, as well as with Samantha Catantan who competed in Fencing. 

Carlos, EJ, Kayla and Samantha were among the 22 athletes who bannered the flag during the country's historic run at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Yulo delivered two gold medals for the nation, reigning supreme in his pet event floor exercise and vault, while boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas plucked bronze medals as the country tallied its best Olympic finish in its 100-year history.

Upon their arrival at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, the athletes headed to the Malacañang Palace for an awarding ceremony and reception dinner where they were welcomed by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.

A Heroes' Welcome parade was held on Wednesday afternoon from the Aliw Theater to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
