'Mga Batang Riles' cast undergoes workshop with Laurice Guillen

The cast of "Mga Batang Riles" has undergone an acting workshop with Laurice Guillen.

According to a Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland, Antonio Vinzon learned from the veteran director before going into taping for the series.

They were also joined in the workshop by veteran actress Desiree del Valle.

"Magandang opportunity po 'to sa amin pong cast na maturuan ng isang Direk Laurice Guillen. Actually matagal na po 'tong ini-schedule, matagal ko na ring nilu-look forward and finally natuloy na," Miguel said.

Desiree was impressed by what the young actors had shown in the workshop.

"Ngayon ko lang nakita 'yung mga acting chops nila and they listen very well to directions given and nabibigay nila 'yung hinihingi sa kanila and they're very hungry," she said.

"Mga Batang Riles" will be directed by Richard Arellano. The series already held a story conference with the cast.
