David Licauco to Barbie Forteza as she turns 27: 'Happy birthday Aderina!'

Barbie Forteza is now 27 years old!

The Kapuso Primetime Princess marked her birthday with a special photoshoot, where she wore vaudeville and cabaret-inspired outfits.

She posted photos of her clad in jeans and a bejeweled bra, as well as an all-black ensemble of a vest, shorts, high stockings, and a top hat reminiscent of the Jazz Age.

"Twenty seven, zero damns given," Barbie said in her Instagram caption.

Barbie's love team partner and "Pulang Araw" co-star David Licauco greeted her in his own way.

"Happy birthday Aderina!" David commented with a smiley face.

In the series, David portrays Japanese immigrant Hiroshi. With the character's Nihongo accent, he pronounces Adelina as Aderina.

"Pulang Araw" traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina (Barbie), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), Hiroshi (David), and Eduardo (Alden Richards) as they navigate different struggles before and during World War II.

"Pulang Araw" is now airing on GMA Prime. It is also streaming on Netflix, where it landed on the No. 1 spot of the platform's list of "Top 10 TV Shows in the Philippines Today."
