Kim Ji Soo joins GMA Kapuso Foundation's relief efforts for Typhoon Carina victims
South Korean actor Kim Ji Soo handed out relief goods to students and families affected by the flooding and heavy rainfall brought by Typhoon Carina.
In an Instagram video posted by Sparkle, Ji Soo could be seen taking part in GMA Kapuso Foundation and “Dapat Alam Mo!”’s efforts to provide school supplies and other relief goods at an outreach in San Juan City.
Supporters commended Ji Soo in the comments section, saying that he is very humble and that his participation in the outreach is much appreciated.
In early July, Ji Soo made a memorable appearance as Adrian Park in “Black Rider.” In the action-packed series, his character participated in a gunfight scene, spoke Tagalog and English, and had several interactions with Yassi Pressman’s character, Vanessa.
He also graced the GMA Gala and won the Scene Stealer Award.
Ji Soo is set to star in the film "Mujigae," with Rufa Mae Quinto, Alexa Ilacad, Lito Pimentel, and more.
Metro Manila was placed under a state of calamity on July 24 amid severe flooding. Malls and other establishments provided shelter, parking spaces, bathrooms, and internet signal.
Carina exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on July 25, but a number of areas in Metro Manila remain affected.
Several organizations, including GMA Kapuso Foundation, have also opened up donation drives to benefit those affected by the super typhoon.
