Michael De Mesa's car finally gets towed after 22 hours of getting stranded due to floods

Michael De Mesa posted another update after he got stranded on the road due to the flooding caused by Typhoon Carina-enhanced Habagat.

On Instagram, Thursday, the actor and director shared a photo of him smiling inside his car while it was being towed.

Michael thanked those who messaged him and those who sent assistance.

"Finally being towed after more than 22 hours of being stuck," he said. "I deeply appreciate your kindness and support. My thoughts and prayers are with those in more difficult situations. Stay safe, everyone."

Michael left taping from Cainta, Rizal on Wednesday afternoon and drove through strong rains and flooded areas.

He had been stranded for five hours already when he first posted about his situation.

Michael, of the Eigenmann family of actors, is part of the cast of "Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis." He is also part of the upcoming GMA-7 series, "Forever Young."

The National Capital RegionBataan, Bulacan, Batangas and Cavite have been placed under state of calamity due to the massive floods.

On Wednesday, passengers had to climb over the roof of a bus on Araneta Avenue as the water reached inside the vehicle.
