Gloc-9 says Francis Magalona lent him money for tuition fee during his nursing studies

Gloc-9 had a close friendship with his idol, the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona.

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Gloc-9 said Francis M. was godfather to his twin children, and called him "anak."

He also opened up on the kindness he received from the OPM icon, including the time when Francis M. lent him money for his tuition fee when he was studying nursing.

Gloc-9 said he made it a point to return the money he borrowed, as he did not want to ruin the trust between him and Francis M.

"Si Sir Kiks ay ibang level," he said.

"I think meron siyang lunch with his family, 'yung lunch niya with his family, ginawa niyang malapit dun sa binyag para lang maka-attend siya," he added.

While Gloc-9 has become successful as an artist through the years, he said he sees his friendship with Francis M. as an achievement in itself.

Gloc-9, or Aristotle Pollisco in real life, is known for his songs "Sirena," "Upuan," "Lando," "Hari ng Tondo," and more.

Meanwhile, Francis M. was the artist behind the songs "Kaleidoscope World," "Tayo'y Mga Pinoy," "Mga Kababayan," and "3 Stars and A Sun." He passed away due to leukemia in 2009.
