Diana Zubiri apologizes anew to Mandaluyong ex-mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. for 2002 FHM shoot: 'Sorry na'
Diana Zubiri has again apologized to former Mandaluyong mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. for her controversial FHM shoot on the EDSA crossing flyover in October 2002.
On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the "Encantadia" actress expressed her gratitude and respect for Abalos, bringing a sense of closure to the issue.
"To Mayor Abalos, forever po akong thankful at sorry na," she said.
Diana recalled that the FHM shoot was a simple dare from her manager, which she agreed to do under one condition: for her manager to buy her a phone with a camera (Nokia 7650).
After the shoot on October 29, 2002, a case of grave scandal was filed against her and the FHM team by Abalos. However, the politician withdrew the case after the actress apologized.
Diana guested in the GMA afternoon talk show with her fellow sexy actresses and dear friends, Maui Taylor and Aubrey Miles.
Earlier this month, Diana sold a collection of four FHM magazines to Boss Toyo, including the one with the controversial EDSA flyover photo, for P23,404.
Diana is now based in Australia, where she lives with her husband Andy Smith and her three children.
