Kathryn Bernardo greets Dominic Roque on his 34th birthday

Dominic Roque has turned 34 years old and his good friend Kathyrn Bernardo made sure to greet him on his birthday.

On Instagram stories, the actress shared a photo of Dominic posing in front of the camera while leaning on what seems to be a boat.

"Birthday boi," Kathryn wrote, and tagged the actor.

She also posted a photo from his birthday celebration, where he can be seen holding a plate with a slice of cake, and a cute boomerang selfie of them.

"Fwesh ni Bday Boy. Fact: I just found out last night he has a dimple," Kath said.

Dominic and Kathryn shared a close friendship as they used to be in the same squad called "Nguya Squad" with Kath's ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla.

Nguya Squad was composed of Daniel, Kathryn, Dominic, Ria Atayde, Aeriel Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Patrick Sugui, Marco Gumabao, and Khalil Ramos.

Previously, Dominic denied rumors that he is courting Kathryn, saying she is just a sister to him.

The actor was formerly engaged to Bea Alonzo, but they confirmed their breakup in February. 

Meanwhile, Kathryn is set to reprise her role as Joy in the sequel of the 2019 blockbuster film "Hello, Love, Goodbye," titled "Hello, Love, Again" with Alden Richards.

The movie is slated to be released in the Philippines on November 13.
