Chanty attends GMA Gala 2024, confirms she’s still with Lapillus

Lapillus is still a group, and Sparkle star Chanty is still part of it.

Chanty confirmed this to GMA News Online on Saturday’s GMA Gala at the Marriott Manila Hotel in Pasay City.

“For now, I don’t really know exactly what to say or what to share or what to say,” she said.

“I hope that our fans, our Lapis, will always support us and keep looking forward for whatever surprises I’ll have in the future, especially Lapillus, of course,” she added.

The group of Chanty, Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun debuted in 2022 under MLD Entertainment with the song “Hit Ya!”

Lapillus was among the artists who attended, won awards, and performed at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards held at the Philippine Arena last December.

Last April, Chanty "indefinitely" postponed her activities with the band following struggles with her health. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
