Glaiza De Castro debuts new Pirena look at GMA Gala 2024

Sang’gre Pirena is in the house!

Glaiza De Castro just debuted the new and improved look of Pirena on the GMA Gala 2024 red carpet.

During an interview at the prestigious Kapuso event, Glaiza said that her red hair in a bob cut is Pirena’s new look in the upcoming “Encantadia” spin-off series, “Sang’gre.”

“’Yung red hair ko, mapapanuod niyo ‘yan sa upcoming ‘Sang’gre,’ ‘yan ang magiging bagong look ni Pirena,” she said.

Talking about her GMA Gala outfit, a white tube gown adorned with dangling gems by Neric Beltran, the Kapuso actress said her edgy and effortless personality inspired the ensemble.

“We gave it a twist para mag mukhang Glaiza pa rin, gusto ko talaga edgy pa rin, effortless,” she said.

Glaiza is set to reprise her role as Pirena in the upcoming GMA series, “Sang’gre.”

“Sang’gre” will feature a new generation of diwatas. It stars Bianca Umali as Terra, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa; Faith Da Silva as Flamarra, keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy; and Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Tubig. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
