Yassi Pressman and Luigi Villafuerte walk the GMA Gala 2024 red carpet together

Yassi Pressman and Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte have made their GMA Gala debut as a couple.

At the red carpet, held at the Marriott Manila Hotel in Pasay City on Saturday, the “Black Rider” star was dressed in an elegant white tube dress with a beaded rim, and had silver jewelry. Meanwhile, the politician donned a white coat over an all-black outfit composed of a shirt and trousers. Both looks were by Anthony Ramirez for a simple yet elegant appearance.

Yassi said she was feeling great and was very excited for the night. Although she has attended several network balls before, it is Yassi’s first time with a date.

Luigi added, “I feel very lucky to be here because I have such a beautiful date with me.”

The governor added that he dressed in white because he “wanted to be ‘White Rider.’”

Yassi said, “Sobrang kilig ko. He’s so sweet kasi, may sparkle po talaga.”

Now that the action-packed series is nearing its end, Yassi invited Kapuso viewers to tune into its finale week starting July 22.

“Sobrang hirap pero sobrang sulit po dahil sa suporta ng mga tao so we’re very grateful for that,” Yassi said.

Before leaving the red carpet, Yassi greeted her team, and the couple greeted the people of CamSur.

Yassi officially made her relationship with Luigi public in February when she shared a video of them kissing.

In 2023, Yassi said that she and Luigi were getting to know each other and spending more time together. They opened 2024 with a trip to Vietnam.

She recently said that Luigi “makes me really happy” and gushed over him when he gave her a shoutout in a speech. Yassi was also able to visit Luigi’s hometown of Camarines Sur and spend time with the locals.

The GMA Gala 2024 is currently happening at the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel Manila. It is the network’s annual thanksgiving event that gathers an expected 1,000 guests. Stars are set to appear in their black, white, and sparkly attire. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
